We will be visiting our daughter who is in Hungary over Christmas for 2 weeks. Wondering if anyone has suggestions as to what direction we should travel from there? We were wondering which area (Austria or Crotia) would have more to do over the Christmas season? We will be travelling with a family of 5 (all adults).

Hi Brenda, I would head to Austria. There is so much to see in Vienna, Salzburg and Innsbruck. And during the holiday season it is even better. The Christkindl markets will be in full swing. If you go to Vienna, go to the Rathaus - it's one of my favorite Christmas markets in Europe. Nothing beats gluhwein on a cold day.
