I am traveling to the Algarve of Portugal, visiting Salema, Portimao, Lagoa, Tavira and Faro. I will be staying for two months, have a bad lower back and neck, and really need to find a great Chiropractor, hopefully american trained who also has physical therapy stuff, to help me continue my treatment while I am there. Anybody know of a good one? many thanks!!

Hi John, wow what great timing! I just got back from Portugal, and while I was there grabbed my luggage at the Faro airport and went right to the ground in pain. The medic at the airport helped me, asked where I was going in Portugal, and told him I was headed to the Salema. He recommended me to what I found out was an amazing Chiropractor who helped me out of pain and got me right again. He was a lot like my Chiro back home. Tons of experience, years in practice, I found out he had been a professor at a Chiro college in USA, sports doc etc. Anyway, not only did he fix my back, but he also did physical therapy on it (you mentioned), laser i think, couldn't believe how fast I got better. (he also did NOT try to sell me on a ton of visits, just got me fixed in a couple of visits and I was happy as could be!) So here's his info, best of luck to you John. Dr. Krystov Bock, in Lagoa (near Portimao), he's at Active Quiropratica, 966 706 606 is the one phone number i have, his office was easy to find, right on the N125 in the middle of Lagoa (the main roundabout with gas stations).
