Chez Clement?

Is this equivalent to our iHop and Denny's?

To save myself, I must point out that I have never eaten at Denny's and only at iHop once! That was enough, lol

The reason I asked (and compared) was that someone I met today told me about Chez Clement and said that it was sort of a chain like one of the above.

Kent, I went to the website and immediately wanted to slap myself for listening to the acquaintance. Mind you, he's a Chef here at a major hotel so maybe to him, Chez Clement is like a Dennys??

Yes, Chez Clément is not haute cuisine, but each restaurant has a different décore....and we always found it welcoming to everyone, including families with children...and still serving good food...Yes, tourists eat there...but so do French people..

We ate at Chez Clement Montparnasse in November 2007. We got a special that included dessert. We had duck with mashed potatoes. It was very good. The service was excellent. Prices were reasonable. They gave the kids advent calendars with chocolates and coloring pages with crayons. I wouldn't put this in the category with iHop or Denny's.
