We're planning to travel to London, then take the train to Paris for two days, before flying to Rota, Spain. Can anyone recommend some economical, yet clean places to stay? Note: my husband is 6'5". We're hoping to pay less than $100.00 per night.

Try the Ibis hotels. They are clean and reasonable. There is a nice one right near Gare du Nord.

Have you looked in Rick Steves' Paris book yet? Lots of places in lots of locations and in various price ranges.

I'm not as pessimistic as Kent. Go to TripAvisor.com plug in your budget in the hotels section for Paris and read the reviews for the various hotels. I've had great success using TA in all sorts of cities.
