cheap hotel in paris for easter weekend

My daughter and 2 of her friends will be in paris over easter weekend and i can't find an available hotel. They're 20 years old so somewhere "extra" safe would be helpful.

Thanks,
Barbara

I was looking into this a few weeks ago and the Hotel College de France had vacancies.

I have stayed there. It's in the Latin Quarter and as a single female I felt fine being there alone.

Room rates were around 100 Euros (not sure if that's cheap enough)

I wound up renting an apartment.

Barbara, the above is the URL for VacationInParis. It's a USA company with HQ practically next door to you in New Jersey. Browse the apartments listed and call the managers in New Jersey (toll free) if you have questions. You could have a key to your way cool Paris apartment before you leave NYC.

Hi Barbara,

I'm a New Yorker who lived in Paris for a year and now live in southern Spain.

The last time I stayed in Paris, Quentin Tarantino was staying at the same hotel. I recommend Hotel La Louisiane, right in the center of St Germain de Pres in the Latin Quarter on the Left Bank. I first discovered this hotel back in 1986. It is on Rue de Seine, a charming neighborhood, very central, lots of cafes, Muse d'Orsay within a stone's throw as is the Louvre and all things central in Paris.

Not sure about availability for Easter at this stage but have a look, reasonable rates. I was never sure why Quentin would stay at this hotel except that is it so convenient and not very glam. Should be very suitable & safe for 20 yrs ladies traveling together.

Perry,
I rented my apartment via Vacation in Paris so I have bad news for Barbara. I took the last one left over that weekend. Sorry!
