Bonjour! We are 4 seniors wishing to travel from the Latin Quarter to Vaux-le-Vicomte and Fontainebleau. Rick's guidebook recommends a company called Cityrama. Has anyone traveled with them? Any other suggested bus or limo companies? Thanks for your help!

Hello, sharon. There's a marvelous company called Paris-Trip that had set the standard for me.Each trip I have taken with them has been a sheer joy. www.paris-trip.com For Fountainebleau:

CityRama and ParisVision will do tours to both in one day, but not during winter. I believe they are rather expensive, so it would be good to get some feedback before booking. There might be more feedback on them on TripAdvisor. Going to Fontainebleau via public transportation is simple and would cost less than 16€/person + admission. Vaux-le-Vicomte isn't as simple via public transportation, but doable on a weekend (not in winter). It would be possible to combine them both, as the train to Fontainebleau stops in Melun, which is where you get off for V-l-V. I could provide detailed instructions if you'd like to attempt this on your own.
