We will arrive at CDG from New York and have one hour to catch our flight to Naples. Can we make it, and how can we speed it up? We only have carry on luggage.
It will be close. Check to see if your airline as other flights later in the day. If so, and you miss your original connection, they should be able to put you on a later flight.
Carolyn Yikes! That is really a tight connection. OK, here are some suggestions. Pray your flight is early. Ask the stewards if they can help you get off the plane at the front of the line. Check on which airlines and which terminal you will need to get to. Print a map of the airport to help you move in the right direction. And, of course, the key stumbling block is that you need to go through customs and immigration. And as the PP said, print out the schedule for the airline's rest of the day. If you booked the flights together, they are "legal". And they are supposed to book you on the next "available" (meaning seats) flight. I suspect you will not be able to make your Naples flight. I would call the airline and see if you can beg them about changing your Naples flight time to at least 2 hours later and preferably 3. Good luck! Bobbie
A lot will depend on which airline(s) you're flying, because this will determine whether or not you have to change terminals. Hopefully you're flying on a single ticket, because then you should already have your boarding pass for flight #2. As was mentioned, you WILL have to go through passport control at CDG. It's very tight, but if you're on a single itinerary, they're obligated to put you on a later flight if you miss the connection - assuming there are seats available.
To tight for CDG. Just make sure you have a back up plan and know the next flight out.
If the flight to Naples is running late, you might make it. In addition to security and passport, do you have to change terminals? My husband missed a Italy-Paris-NY connection last year.
