I am arriving at Charleroi airport on Saturday night and have to be back at the airport by 3 pm on Sunday. (My flight is at 5pm) I understand that Brussels is about an hour by Shuttle...seems the hotels near the airport are in a corporate park..not much to see .I am still thinking of staying Briussels for the night.Would love input~! Thanks

I've flown out of Charleroi once. You have plenty of time to make a 3 pm flight if you stay in Brussels. One word of caution, though, the traffic around Brussels can be horrific around rush hour, and can come to a near stand-still if there's an accident somewhere. Don't linger too long in Brussels the morning of your flight.
