Changing trains in Paris

Are we better to get a taxi on a 58 minute change time between train stations in Paris, than try to run between stations when we don't know our wy around? Or will a taxi be just as long? Thanks

RER D connects Lyon and Nord in about ten minutes. Figure five minutes walking from platfrom to platform on each end. A taxi can't start to make it that fast not even considering that you'd have to walk outside to find one and then back in at the other end. If you decide to run, wear sneakers. It's three miles.
