Champagne Region & Day Trip to Stratsbourg

I am going to the Champagne Region from 22 to 25 September, I am staying in Reims. What Champagne Houses would you recommend me to visit their Vineyards, the smaller the better.

I am also planning to take a Day trip to Stratsbourg before going to the Champagne region, either on a Friday or a Saturday, what could you recommend me to do on a day, Do you know any Winstubs (PUB in that region) or have you heard any reviews of a Restaurant called the Crocodile if it still exists.

I appreciate any advice.

Hi Pilar,
... my favorite Strasbourg Winstub seems to have found new owners, or something. In any case, you should not miss the opportunity to dine in one. Many French citizens will say Strasbourg is the best place in France for food. Now, that's saying something! bon appétit! P
