Chamonix: Grand Balcon Nord in mid June?

Hello! We'll be in Chamonix around June 15th. Does anyone know if, in general, it's possible to hike the Grand Balcon Nord
(or Grand Balcon Sud) at that time of year? Would crampons likely be needed? Thanks! Bill
