I plan on flying "open-jaw" next spring into Heathrow and out of Paris. I've done Heathrow, and can handle it, but I've heard nothing but bad things about CDG. Is it worth it? Or should I attempt to fly out of Orly? It'll be my mother and I (she being early 50s and me mid 20s so we're spry enough) but I only speak basic French. Is either one a bit more English-friendly/less of a headache? Thanks!

Your choice might be determined by which airline you fly. Not all airlines fly into both.

I've used both and was using Orly way before they thunk up CDG. It makes no difference as far as I can tell. Figure bucks and nothing else.
