Our Hotel is near the Luxembourg metro station. Is their a recommendation (and guess on cost) for transportion by the RER (I know which line). Or is it better to take a shuttle or bus? All input is appreciated. We will be arriving on a Sat. AM

Shuttles and buses are never better, unless one has too many bags.. RER is as Jona says, easy , cheap and direct for you.

You are a straight shot on RER from CDG to Luxembourg station ( it is only an RER station actually). Cost per person will be 8.20 Euros. Time should be about 35 minutes.
