CDG- Layout of Terminal 1

We depart next weekend for France arriving at CDG. My teenage daughter arrives alone on a different flight and terminal-1 within 10 min. of us (we arrive Terminal 2). I want to make sure she knows what to do upon arrival (our private shuttle will stop at both terminals). Our shuttle instructions say "Terminal 1-Meeting Point is at Gate 14, Departure Level (take the elevator down one level after exiting the baggage claim area)."

My question is, in a nutshell, what level will she arrive on and what level is baggage claim? OK, here's why I'm confused- when I look at the terminal 1 map (on Aeroports de Paris site) it shows "Arrivals" on Level 5 (I see the baggage symbols there so I'm guessing that's where baggage claim is?? But, maybe that's the problem since baggage claim isn't labeled anywhere). The next level down is Level 4-Transfer and that's where they show planes at the gates. The next level down is Level 3-Departures, and I do see a door labled 14 there, but this is 2 levels down (not 1 level down as our shuttle says) from where I see the baggage symbols on the Arrival Level. Is there a baggage claim on Level 4-Transfer that I'm not seeing, and is that also where she arrives? Thanks for your help!

Thanks Jona- That's a better map than the one I had. Good advice!

Arrival times on international flights are unpredictable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Your actual arrival time, and that of your daughter can vary as much as an hour (or two hours) from the time printed on your tickets.

Please, for your peace of mind, "Have a Plan B!"
