Have a May 30 11:10 am flight back to US. Advice/experience on a final night at airport vs village? Thanks, Tom
There is an Ibis hotel, not the one away from the airport, but right there. It's a few steps away from the driverless shuttle that stops at all the terminals. Clean, functional, inexpensive. To my mind it's the only place to stay if you have a morning flight. Eat a last dinner in Paris; take the RER to the airport; and, though I forget the exact sequence, get to the hotel easily. I think you just get off at terminal 3 and follow the signs. Look at the Ibis website for their hotels in Roissy. You'll be able to distinguish which is the one at CDG versus near CDG. You might even find a "special offer."
Thanks to Bets and Rosalyn. My real question was whether it is worth spending the last night in a nearby French "village" as opposed to the airport proper. I'll probably opt for the airport Ibis. Thanks again and cheers, Tom
