laura, A few "quick answers" to your questions.... 1.) The time to go through Immigration / Passport control will vary, depending on several factors - time of day and how many Agents they have on duty, number of flights that arrived at about that time, etc. I'd suggest planning for at least 30-45 minutes. 2.) For buying Paris Museum Passes, have a look at This Website. I assume you'll be travelling by Metro once you disembark from the Roissy Bus, so I'd just buy a Carnet at the first station (I don't like to spend any more time in the airport than absolutely necessary). 3.) You can purchase your tickets on-board from the Driver. According to the website in the next link, "Tickets for the Roissybus can be purchased within the glass enclosed bus stop via the vending machine or from the ticket window (which may or may not be manned at the time of your arrival)." You may find it very helpful to have a look at This Website for information on travel from CDG to Paris. 4.) Are you referring to "other helpful hints" on travel from the airport, or touring in Paris in general? I'd highly recommend packing along either the France or Paris Guidebooks as there's LOTS of information that will not only save you money but help with efficient touring. These are now available in E-book format if you have a compatible reader or an iPod Touch. Happy travels!

A Paris guide book from Rick Steves would contain lots of important and useful information for you.

I'd advise buying metro/bus/tram tickets ("tickets t+") at the Opera metro station...you'll be in the line at CDG f-o-r-e-v-e-r. You can buy tickets from the Roissybus driver; you may need exact change, or at least be willing to part with your change...as of 1 1/2 years ago, they weren't required to make change. You can buy your Museum Pass anywhere that honors it - I've gotten mine at the Louvre a few times; one time at the counter - no one in line ahead of me, and the other time from a vending machine. Or, you can get it at the TI at CDG; they move around in my experience; even the airport won't commit to telling exactly where they are LOL! "In the public area of each terminal"... uh, thanks? DO check out the CDG website, though - lots of good info: http://www.aeroportsdeparis.fr/ADP/en-GB/Passagers/home/ Come to our Sacto Helpline meetings with a list of your questions! The next one will be Sat, April16...
