The name of the tour is:
Royal Castle Tour of Neuschwanstein and Linderhof day tour from Munich.
We had an American expat as our tour guide.
Their office is located Munich Hauptbahnhof. Go in the main front doors..walk all the way through the lobby to the trains tracks....turn left go all the way down and their office is the one on the right.
Tours of Ludwig's castles are by guided tour only. When you buy a ticket, you have an assigned time to enter each castle. I didn't time the tours, but I recall each one lasting less than an hour. If you visit through a package deal from Munich, save an entire day on your schedule.
