How is Cassis and how easy is it to get from there to Marseille airport for a 10am flight? Are there other interesting towns in which we could spend the last day or so of our trip that are also in close proximity to Marseille airport for a quick egress?!

I will be staying there this Sept. I have been looking at train schedules and I'm thinking that if your flight is that early you might consider staying in Marseille that evening. I have heard that the area around the port is quite nice these days.

Merci Jeff - it's a 10:15am flt...not super early but need to leave wherever I am quite early for chkin as it's a connex to an international flt. via Paris - don't want to have a luggage problem. May even stay at airport htl. Merci...
