Nancy, it does not appear that this apartment is inside the castle walls. It appears to be downtown.

I gotta ask, why rent an apartment in Carcassonne? Aside from the very touristy walled Cite the actual town is not much to look at. Half a day was more than I needed there.

Richard obviously dwaddled. The idiot that rehabbed it didn't even put it back the way it was - - which figures since he's the same one who stuck the third steeple on Notre Dame in Paris. There's one good place to eat: in the main gate, left, and up. The one that doesn't have the view over the walls. Try the cassoulet.
