Cannes

IMO, the best you can say about Cannes is that it is famous for being famous. Walk along the Boulevard de la Croisette and admire the lavish apartment buildings that face the sea. Take note of the private beaches along the boulevard. If you want see what's currently available to tempt the wealthy, do some window shopping. Then go to Antibes.
