Can you take food in your luggage to Europe?
'And no one is checking your luggage' is very much like smuggling. And why anybody would do it is beyond me since the eastern part of France is full of turkey farms.
The previous poster's link isn't much help either. This one might give you an idea of the complexity of the issue:

I have had my luggage inspected when it contained crackers, tinned meat, hot sauce, etc. No comment was made. I doubt that fruit, vegetables, other forms of meat, or a variety of other items would have made the grade.
They have lots of food for sale all over europe, no need to weight yourself down toting stuff.
I think the response is both yes and no.
Generally packaged foods are accepable. Fruits, veggies etc. are not. But you should probably check for your "specific" needs.
However, it's hard to imagine they don't have the same food you would need there.
I recently flew into Paris from London and no one checked my luggage or asked me any questions. Teh agent stamped my passport and I was out the door to ground transportation. I had several protein bars and a bag of cookies for the plane.
I agree with others, you can eat pretty reasonably there so there is no reason to haul all that stuff over - up and down the subway stairs.
I answered this on the subsequent query.
