I will be visiting Portugal in the next two weeks, and towards the end of my trip, I will be in the Alentejo region. I have always wanted to tour a cork plantation because I think it is such a unique production system, but I have had no luck finding information on how to go about this.
Has anyone ever had the opportunity to visit a cork plantation? Any suggestions how I might arrange this?
