We're thinking of going to Cadiz - the sights and beaches sound like a good family destination. If anyone has any info, please post.
Thanks
As I keep repeating on a monthly basis on here: GO for it! Cadiz is one of the greatest and most beautiful cities in that part of Spain!! Combine it with a day trip to Jerez de la Frontera, the most Arab town in Spain, which can be reached via ferry boat. In Cadiz don't miss the camera obscura. You'll love the old town and the city beach, too, is fantastic and famous for flying kites.
We were in Cadiz in 2005, as part of a trip thru Spain that lasted 8 weeks. We loved the city and enjoyed swimming there as well as, one night, being invited to view Jupiter thru the telescopes of a local astronomy club whose members had gathered along the sea wall.
Great info! I've looked through past post and can't seem to find much on Cadiz. Can anyone recommend any hotels or restaurant, etc. Also I heard La Victoria is a nice Blue Flag beach? Ever been? Is it very windy? We have a 10 year old so a a few days on the beach is a must.
Thanks
