Greetings, Fellow Travelers! Current plan: renting a car when leaving Granada and drive to Tarifa; next day, Morocco; next day, drive Tarifa-Ronda-Arcos and then to Jerez and/or Cadiz (2 days). Which of the two cities we stay in will depend upon: ease of parking and car return, and bus or train to Sevilla. Any input?

Leilani- Will you please clarify how many days we're talking about? Right now it sounds like a bit of a whirlwind trip! If you had to narrow down your itineray, I'd pick Jerez over Cadiz and Ronda over Arcos. We didn't go to Tarifa or Morocco, so I don't have any input for that.

When do you plan to stop and absorb the places you are visiting?

I used Jerez as a base, did a day trip (by train) to Cadiz and a half-day trip (by bus) to Arcos. I liked Jerez better than Cadiz, and was pleased with my choice. It's also more central - Cadiz, after all is at land's end. So you could return the car as soon as you get to Jerez, you won't need it for Jerez or Cadiz.
