I am travelling with my 86 yo Mom and 82 yo Aunt in Sept, I would like to take them to a "show" in Paris. Any suggestions regarding a good broadway type show that they would enjoy? They are not prudes are are not easily shocked, but enjoy a good show/play/musical.
Why not just do the obvious and take them to the Moulin Rouge? They still dance the cancan there but you have to watch out for really high-priced cheap champagne, etc. There are tour operators in Paris offering this - with the two old ladies in tow it might be the way to go, since presumably everything is included.
If a cabaret will do the job, consider the Lapin Agile (Pilaf type stuff) and not so much of a tourist dump as the better known places. It's in Montmartre on the east side of the St Vincent cemetery. They serve no grub.
Be REALLY careful, as I ended up at basically a strip club when it was advertised as a "show." I don't get easily shocked as well, but you need to dig a little deeper since some people will try to sell you anything!
