Buying Thalys tickets for Leiden Centraal to Paris-Nord

I've tried www.nshispeed.nl and www.thalys.com but haven't had much success when they ask for my address. They seem to offer only delivery of tickets by mail only and require an address in the Netherlands.

We're planning to take the train on Sept. 6th and want to make reservations for the flexible youth fares.

How are you guys getting around this? Can we wait till we get to Leiden and buy it at the station (hopefully those tickets will still be available)?

Delete the cookies in your browser, and go back to www.thalys.com. When the site asks you where you live and/or where you will be picking up your tickets say "France". After that you will be able to purchase tickets and print them out at home. But be advised that Thalys trains don't stop at Leiden, only Amsterdam CS, Schipol Airport, Den Haag CS, and Rotterdam. You will have to take a regular intercity train to Den Haag CS, and catch the Thalys from there. Be advised that there are two stations in The Haugue, which are served by different lines and are not connected. Make sure you go to Den Haag CS, and not Den Haag HS.

I need to correct some things in Michael's post. Thalys tickets that you can print yourself are limited to special discount fares like Smilys and Mini. You cannot print youth fare tickets. Thalys trains stop at Den Haag HS, not Den Haag CS.

According to the timetables at www.bahn.de, it's a ten-minute ride from Leiden to Den Haag HS.

I don't know if you can buy Thalys tickets at the station in Leiden.
