Buying Paris Museum Pass

Has anyone bought the Paris Museum Pass at the
Charles De Gaulle Airport, we think it will be faster and easier to buy before we depart the airport? The website shows the pass can be bought on different floors and terminals. Thank you.

I did not buy it at the airport, i had planned to buy it at the train station when we came in, but then decided it would be even better and less chance of losing it or having to wait in a long line or dealing with a snotty person at the window when you have just got there. anywho, i bought mine online and got it delivered to my hotel.

I bought the museum pass at the airport about a month ago. My plane arrived in Terminal One early in the morning and I had to wait about 30 minutes for the tourist information center to open. The airport information office directed me right to their location. It was very easy, the agent spoke perfect English, and gave me several very useful maps of Paris. I could also have bought the train ticket into Paris at the same location, as well as subway tickets and probably some other things. If there is a long line at the TI counter it might be different, but for me it was definitely best to do this at the airport and have everything in hand before I got into the city. Have a great trip!

Thank you Megan and Lindsay. We are going to Versailles our first morning and I did not want to chance the delivery to our hotel. We are arriving in Paris on June 5th in the evening. Website shows you can buy museum pass at many terminals. Glad to know we can also buy train ticket into Paris when we buy our museum pass. Next step for us is to see what terminal we are landing and then locate information office.
Thanks again.

I bought mine online and had it delivered to my house. Took about 2 weeks and now I have them.

Yes----it's easy to buy the pass at CDG; we bought ours there in early April 2012 along with RER and metro tickets. Buying an RER ticket for our return to the airport eliminated a stop at a ticket window later in our trip. And our non-chip / pin credit card was readily accepted. As another writer mentioned, the TI desk personnel speak English and are helpful with all your travel questions. Marian, Kirkland WA
