I'm sure others have asked this but does anyone know the secret to buying AVE tickets online? We've tried several different credit cards and got access from our bank but to no avail but nothing works.
There must be SOME way to buy tickets online???

I had the same problem in March. I was trying to book from the US and I put in my credit card information and it kept coming back with a weird message. I called my bank and they said they were declining it because it was a "foreign transaction". I told them to approve it. I waited a day and then tried to book again and it worked. As an FYI, I am a Bank of America customer. Hope this helps.

I had no problem, but I also called VISA first and told them that there would be Spanish charges from "Renfe" coming through in the upcoming week. I'm in Canada - I don't know if it's that different from the US.
