Intend to buy a SIM card for my mobile phone while arrive at Barcelona. Do you know a Vodafone store or a reliable place to get a SIM card for use at Spain and also to call home to USA?

I think there is even a Vodafone store at the airport in Barcelona. In any event, you'll find a store finder here: http://www.vodafone.es/conocenos/tiendas-vodafone/tiendasvodafone/ It should be noted, however, that a pre-paid SIM is an expensive way to make international calls. Unless you have an emergency, I'd recommend buying a calling card from any of the zillions of "locutorios" (call centers). A €5 card will get you 120+ minutes of long-distance calls.
