Buy Paris Museum Pass at Gare Du Nord or Musee Rodin?

I will be reaching Paris by Eurostar at Gare Du Nord. I do not know how far the TI to buy Museum Pass would be or how long the line would be. I plan to go to Musee Rodin as my first museum in Paris. Should I plan on buying my Paris Museum Pass at the TI or at Musee Rodin? Rick says some of the big museums may not always have the pass. To minimize walking out of my way and waiting in lines while ensuring I get a pass is my goal!

Thanks,

Srini

"Musee Rodin is a small museum, no lines" The two times I have been here, the line was significant, if not as long as the Louvre or Centre Pompidou. The line, if any, is probably shorter at Gare du Nord.

Steve, Tom,

Thanks a lot for the prompt responses. If I do not have to go a lot out of my way to get to the TI as I am getting out of the station, I will try to buy my pass at the station. Otherwise, I will take my chances at Rodin (it is a Wednesday, none of the major attraction are closed and hence hopefully I will have a shorter line).

Thanks,

Srini

Another thing to keep in mind is that since Musee Rodin is a small museum, it may not have the Museum Pass in stock to purchase. This was a problem for a friend who wanted to buy a 6-day pass, but the small museum she went to (can't remember which it was) did not have it in stock for purchase. I would think to buy it at Gare du Nord if you can even if the TI is a little bit out of your way.
