can someone help me out with bus schedules/prices from fussen to oberammgau? if you know of a website that will help me with this that would be wonderful! thanks

Brian, go to http://bahn.hafas.de/bin/query.exe/en. Even though it's "train" website, it covers bus travel, too. I just went to the website, and when you plug in Fuessen to Oberammergau (that's the correct spelling), it will show you the schedules and prices (and it's by bus). This link is in English.

The buses in Upper Bavaria are run by RVO (Regional Verkehr Oberbayern). They have a website, www.rvo-bus.de, but it is all in German. The schedule for bus 9606, which runs between Füssen and Garmisch-Partenkirchen via Oberammergau can be found in pdf format on the RVO website or via http://tinyurl.com/2e5dmw.
The current price for an RVO Tageskarte (all day ticket) is €8,50. That might be lower than the Einzelfahrschein (single trip ticket) from Füssen to Oberammergau. Ask the driver.
To find other routes and schedules on RVO-bus, from the homepage, click on "Fahrplan und Regionals", then "Fahrpläne", select a region (Garmisch-Partenkirche), and then see a selection of routes.
You can see a map with some of the routes around GaP (but not Oberammergau to Füssen) on www.bayern-takt.de/media/Bilder/Tickets/Werdenfelsticket-Karte2007.pdf.
Bus 9606 goes through Hohenschwangau on the way to Oberammergau. You don't have to go back to Füssen.
