Bus pass in Rue Cler in Paris?

I will be staying at the Hotel Royal Phare in the Rue Cler area in September. I want to purchase a weekly bus pass, the Carte Orange, which RS says can be purchased at major Metro stations and/or a tabac shop.

Anyone know that area and if the Metro station near the Ecole Militaire sells them? I have my passport photos already.

Thank you,

Virginia

The Carte Orange runs Monday through Sunday, so if you are arriving in Paris early in the week, I would suggest you get yours at the airport or train station. If you arrive late in the week consider getting a carnet of ten single tickets (10.90 euros) and using those tickets until Monday, and use the weekend to scope out where you can get your Carte on Monday. Find the RER or Metro ticket window at the airport or train terminal and by the pass or carnet there; that way you can get to Ecole Militaire station inexpensively.

That station and any other station with an open ticket window should have the Carte Orange for sale.

The Carte Orange is sold through Wednesday for the current week. No sales on Thursday. If you buy one Friday-Sunday, it won't be valid until Monday. It's more than a "bus pass." It's good on the Metro, RER, bus, trams, and the Montmartre funicular.

A fare increase went into effect on 1 July. A carnet now costs €11.10. Single tickets are now €1.50.
