I know that there is bus, but my questions if there are one specific place to board or several, depends where our hotel will be, I do not have hotel yet, but will target Promenade

There's the number 98 virtually non-stop bus that leaves from the railway station, or the 99 that runs along the Promenade des Anglais stopping frequently. If you stay on the Prom, there will probably be a 99 stop very close to your hotel. The 99 can get extremely crowded, though.
