Our daughter is studying to be a chef and we wanted to reward her great grades with a trip to Europe for 7 weeks next summer. Naturally, we are focusing on cuisine for the entire trip.
For the French portion of the trip, we have booked a self-drive houseboat on the Burgundy Canal (between St-Florentin and Ancy-le-Franc). We realize that Burgundy is the food capital of France, but would enjoy specific gourmet food shops, winery or great restaurant suggestions for the area.

Tanlay
Ancy-le-Franc
...or if you know of somewhere we could bicycle to just off the canal, that would be most helpful also.
