Can anyone advise whether Burg Eltz is still being renovated? Specifically is the scaffolding still around the outside of the castle? I can see this was an issue last year, but can't find any updated information.

Carolyn, I believe the repairs and renovations will be taking place for quite some time, so it's likely that the scaffolding is still in place. I don't know which parts of the Castle are still covered by scaffolding. Regardless of the scaffolding, it's still possible to tour the interior of the Castle. Happy travels!
