We will be in Madrid from Oct 5th thru the 9th and then Andalucia from Oct 17th until Oct 22nd using Marbella as a base, then Seville for 3 nights. Any place to see a bullfight during that period? Other festivals or events to consider?

The bullfight season is effectively over on the last Sunday in September in Seville. You will find in Madrid on Sundays in October - http://www.gomadrid.com/activity/madrid-bullfights.html - I am not aware there is anything else until March or April. I will suggest you make all members of your party aware of what a corrida entails, if you do go. Fiestas or festivals - sorry not aware of any in the vicinity of Marbella, but I do not travel in that vicinity, or at all. Sometimes you just come across odd happenings at weekends, like a tapas festival or a cheese fair - You could work with this to see if anything suits - http://www.portalfiestas.com/buscar.php A little hit and miss, but there are local fairs/fiestas/festivals which you might find looking to town hall websites for towns or villages nearby (or googling could come across anything).
