I just found that my "Rick Steve's Spain" kindle edition is missing the hotel recommendations for Granada (the "Sleep Code" is there, but no hotel entries), and I'm headed there this week! Any inexpensive hotel you can recommend for a walking, mature woman alone? I'm especially interested in Sacromonte and access to the Center of Granada. Arriving by train. Thanks.

'Inexpensive' to me would be this - http://www.hostalrodri.com/?lang=en - excellent value and well regarded, central, to the rear of the Cathedral. I can walk to it from the station, but I do not know how much you carry. And in case you do not know, hostal is not hostel.

Could you contact the vendor that sold you the electronic copy of the guide book? I have the 2012 edition, bought from itunes, and it does have that information. I would ask for a refund or ask them why a portion of the book was left out. we are using the company that rents apartments in a few cities in Spain. It is a Rick Steves recommendation. We are renting a nice 2 story apartment in the Albayzin for 80 euros per night that has a great view of Alhambra.

We stayed in a Best Western right on in the center on the main shopping street. Sorry can't remember the name. Great Italian right next door.
