We're flying from Vienna to Paris and arriving about 5 p.m. We will pick up a rental car there - our next destination is Bayeux. We prefer not to drive 3+ hours and arrive late. Can anyone recommend an area to find a B&B or hotel on the route to Bayeux that would be about 1-2 hours from CDG. We will have a rental car and will need a place to park. Would Rouen be a good option? Thanks so much!

Ruen's an easy two hours from the airport. There are a couple or three ETAP hotels there which will run about sixty bucks a night. Small, basic rooms, but clean. The breakfast isn't worth what it costs, but the machine coffee is pretty good. Accorhotels.com will find them as well as the Formule1 (which are a bit less expensive, but only have a sink in the room, otherwise they're the same). I think there might be a couple of B&B Hotels as well, they're a half notch up for not much more. Hotel-bb.com. My wife likes them more than the ETAPs, I can't see any real difference.
