Budget Accomodations in Antibes, Provence, Corsica

Anyone ever been to Camp du Pylone near Antibes? Am looking for reviews of this caravan park. We will be basing out of the Antibes area for 3 weeks in April 2009 with our 5 year old boy and are looking for kid friendly accomodations (the above is one idea we had) and things to do. Provence....we will have 2 weeks there and have never been. Want to be in one spot the whole time, but use public transportation to get to/from and around the area. Is that possible? Are there any farm stays in Provence, like in Italy? Also, we could have one week in Corsica if we make the time for it, but what do we do with a 5 year old once we get there? Again, want to use public transportation, no rental cars. We like hiking, but can only do so modestly with such a young one in tow. Ideas about all the above are quite appreciated.

We stayed in Sanary Sur Mer, near Toulon two years ago. My wifes second cousin got us a room ON THE BEACH which was quite reasonable. If you're interested i will look up the name of the place.

Dan - Thanks for the offer about Toulon accomodations. We are pretty set on staying in the Antibes area, not Toulon. Know anything more about inland Provence?

You will have a hard time seeing much in Provence without a car. We stayed outside of Isle sur le Sorgue last fall and it was very nice. But we had a car in which we could travel all over Provence. There are trains that go between the main towns, but not much else for mass transit. There are a lot of small places in the countryside associated with farms and vineyards.
