I keep reading that rooms in hotels in Brussels on weekends in the summer are heavily discounted. Does anyone have any experience with this--should we reserve in advance or wait until we get there and hope to find one of these cheap rooms?

The last time I went to Brussels I got a pretty cheap weekend deal at www.brusselsbookingdesk.be (which redirects to an official hotel clearing house site run by the city council).
