I will be in Brussels for 3 days....that's three dinners to me......I would love suggestions on great places to taste the mussels, etc.....good value...for upscale taste....help!

Amy, if you're looking for good cuisine, Brussels is definitely the place to live it up! Two favorites come to mind, both in the Grand Place area. Aux Armes de Bruxelles is a classic institution right in the middle of the action (Rue des Bouchers) - the one place to taste mussels and frites Belgian style. Formal, upscale presentation, but relaxed atmosphere. Taverne du Passage (Galerie de la Reine) is set in the city's shopping gallery. It's a throwback with its wood paneling and Art Deco motif. I liked their steak and seafood dishes; service is classy and efficient, but friendly to boot. Bon appetit!
