Has anyone been to Brunnen? I will be in the Freiberg and would like to spend a couple of days in a small village in Switzland near a lake

We have stayed in Brunnen twice at the Hotel Schmid-Alfa which was very nice and had lovely balcony/view of Lake Lucerne. The town itself has nothing much to offer but is convenient for the lake boat, train, and Lucerne. Small, lakeside towns in Switzerland that we like are Villeneuve (Lake Geneva), and Spiez (Lake Thun). But best of all is Meersburg (Germany) just across from Switzerland on Lake Constance. Good luck!
