We will be driving from Bruges to Bayeux in May. Can anyone suggest a town near the coast that would be a nice overnite and break up the trip?

Check out (sp) Douville Touville. These are two towns on the coast. Interesting, good food. One is up scale the other "normal". We did not stay there but made a day trip from Bayeux. I really like the area. Others will probably recommend Hanfluer which is also nice but busier. You get more local flavor in T & D. But either area would be nice.

I would also recommend Deauville. Check it out on
http://www.deauville.org. It's an old resort town for blue bloods but has accommondations in all price ranges.
