We are traveling by car to either Bruges or Ghent Belgium and then through Luxembourg on our way to Bamberg Germany. Are there any places to stay that are reasonable and will take a child in the areas listed above that people have had luck with? We do have a car.

Hello Cindy, That helpful quote you recieved is way too much! Here is how we roll. We have used www.dhr.com since 2008 to book all of our hotels in Scandinavia and Europe with no exception. We have had 100% succes with absolutely no problems whatsoever! We pay with our credit cards which are all set to the us dollar and they charge no taxes. a hotel that offers a buffet breakfast included. Then you print a voucher and take it with you. You simply present the voucher at check in. Most of the hotels are cancelable with some exceptions. MY wife and I are traveling again in September for a month all throughout Europe and we have already booked 7 different hotels! In fact, we booked the 4 star Best Western Imperial hotel in downtown Frankfurt for $45.00 a night all inclusive. They even have a spa and the fluffy bathrobes for no extra charge on request! In Luxembourg, we are again staying at the hotel we stayed in before (also from DHR). Le Chatolet on Rue De La Patruse. A charming family run bed and breakfast on a quite side street, just a 10 minute stroll to the central area. Hope this helps! Happy travels! Dale
