Hello! I am trying to book a flight from Florence to Amsterdam on Meridiana and I continue to receive a message that my booking has failed. I spoke with my credit card and I have no blocks on the card. I then tried to book a flight on Transavia from Pisa to Amsterdam and that also failed. Has anyone else had this problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Lisa,, I absolutely have had same problem. I was trying to book Paris to Rome on Vueling ,, two years ago. I knew my cards were fine,,but they kept saying transaction would not go through,, I emailed them, they said bank was blocking, I phoned bank and Visa,.,. they said they never even had a charge attempt coming through.
It is them,, not us,, but that said, I did eventually get it booked, I used husbands card ,, and it still rejected it,, but after about three different times of trying,. viola,. it just went through.!

So far I haven't had any problems booking flights in Europe, although I haven't yet used the airlines you mentioned. I've booked flights with RyanAir, EasyJet and Aegean Airlines with absolutely no difficulty - transaction went through first time in each case.
One point to consider. Many European booking sites may have different security settings than sites here. You might try changing the settings on your Browser (ie: "allow cookies always") to see if that makes any difference. I had to do that a few days ago when booking a Hotel in Switzerland.
