Black/Brown Sandals

I am travelling to Germany for the first time in June and am wondering if anyone has any recommendations for some sandals that have both black and brown in them so I can only pack one pair instead of 2.

I'm displaying my online shopping habits again. Try Zappos.com. I like Naot sandals - super comfortable, lightweight and I think stylish enough for the comfort. My criteria were comfort first (wedge, no heel) and that they must have heel straps so I don't lose one as I'm running for the train. I'm delighted with my choice.

I love my Naots. I mean, I really love them. I can walk for hours and hours in them. I have a the "Paris" style and they can definately be worn with slacks or skirts.

I always pack one base color, so I think you should decide on either black or brown and keep your wardrobe orientated to one base anyways. I like black as it goes with most colors, even beige.

I'm not sure how dressy you want. If you want something casual looking, you might consider Ecco "Yucatan" sandals. They have both brown and black on them. They are good for walking but are not very dressy looking. I think you can get them through Zappos, too.

Josef Seibel carries some dressier looking leather sandals in combinations of colors that may be to your liking. For me, they are very comfortable for a while, but don't hold up as well over the long haul of walking on cobblestones. The soles aren't as sturdy as ecco or some other brands.

I took a pair of beige SAS sandals; pretty unstylish unfortunately, but very comfortable for long days of walking. I think you can only buy them through their stores. The attractive wedge/slingback beige sandal of the same brand was suited only for short walks. The beige looked good with black slacks, too.
