We're planning on biking the suggested Melk-to-Krems section of the Danube in October. Anybody have suggestions on where to rent our bikes? Do we rent them in Vienna, shuttle them out to to Melk, then back from Krems? Thanks!

There are places in Vienna that can supply bikes. I am away from my home for a few days, but when I return I will email you the name on one that has gotten good reviews. Check out the site www.crazyguyonabike.com. Search in the journals - there are probably 50 describing the tour of the Danube

Pedalpower in Vienna is where we always rent from. Good bikes and the owner, Rick, is a very helpful ex-pat American.
