My boyfriend and I will be visiting Salema this summer. We're really looking forward to exploring the area. Both being athletically-inclined, I was wondering if anyone knew if there were bikes available for rent in Salema. We'd really like to bike to Sagres or somewhere nearby.

I would check with tourist bureau. I believe I saw bike rentals but do not have the names. It can be hilly in areas.. Buses are scheduled regularly but less so on weekends. Plan carefully ahead.Also Lonely Planet guidebooks could prob help you find a contact
