Hi all - This is a great site and I've learned a lot from your helpful commentary. A buddy of mine and I have been working on putting together a bike trip for a few weeks now and I figured you all might have some great advice to offer. We're planning on doing something in Portugal/Spain, maybe riding from one country into another. The trip will ideally cover 150-200 miles between 4-5 days. Here is our question: We are two 24 year old guys and would like to stop in at the best "party" locations along our trip. We're not necessarily looking for Ibiza-style raging, but just places that have lively nightlife. The perfect example would be a small beach town somewhere along the Spanish/Portuguese coast that has a beach bar where everybody comes and drinks, dances, etc. Our ideal end point would be San Sebastian (or, "Donostia"). From what we've read and heard, this is exactly the sort of place we hope to encounter on our journey along the coast. So; if anybody knows of any small towns where two 24 year-old guys could enjoy some great nights in between the legs of a beautiful bike route, please let me know. Planning the route isn't necessarily the hard part - it's finding all of the gems that I'm sure all of you know about! (Note: We're also considering doing the bike trip in Netherlands/Belgium, and would also consider doing something up in Norway/Sweden if anybody has some great suggestions) Thanks in advance!
