Bike Rental in Versaille?

Hi I've read about the bike tour in versailles from Fat Tire bike. I think 8 hrs is a bit much for a bike tour.

I was thinking to just rent a bike to ride Mairie Antoinette's Hamlet. Has anyone tried this?

Where would be the place to rent the bike? After the gardens?

fantastic question that i wish i'd asked, and even better answer. we're totally doing that--versailles is at the top of my paris list, and this seems like a fantastic way to see the gardens and grounds. thanks!!!!

I took the Fat Tire trip fr Paris to Versailles 2 yrs ago & really enjoyed it; we picked up our bikes @ their office & rode them to RER station. We scattered in town of Versailles to each buy picnic lunches & then regrouped to ride thru the gardens. Had a great & knowledgeable guide who told us what to see inside the chateau. He gave us our tickets & stayed w/ our bikes while we went inside. If you like to ride bikes & weather forecast looks good, you might reconsider the bike tour; it may take you almost as long to do the trip on your own.
